To strengthen our U.S. IT Go-to-market Data & Analytics team, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: IT G2M Reporting & Analytics Lead

As IT G2M Reporting & Analytics Leads you will manage our reporting, data and advance analytics portfolio. This position based out of Smyrna, GA will report to the Head of IT U.S. G2M Analytics.

You like to work in an environment where you can:

  • Enable data scientists with cutting edge IT technologies by provisioning the use of open source (AI/ML) to commercial analytics process
  • Act as a primary stakeholder providing thought leadership into the direction of the various advanced analytics and reporting delivery platforms at UCB
  • Partner with stakeholders in various business units, senior leadership and operations team to deliver Business Reporting and Analysis that helps business owner for timely insight for decision making process
  • Own the strategic vision and the technology landscape for our data & analytics platforms in order to meet the needs of various stakeholders across multiple business units for their analytical needs

You will contribute by:

  • Developing the Reporting & Analytics playbook, providing technical leadership and influencing other team members to onboard into common data lake platform to perform advanced analytics through organized tools and training sessions, ad hoc project advice and support on making technical decisions
  • Collaborating with the Digital Business Transformation (DBT) workstreams for the design and build of a structured approach for reporting future state that is coordinated across several digital initiatives including modernizing CRM, building a new data backbone in Azure, and marketing next best actions.
  • Working with visualization support vendor to manage all aspects of vendor relationship including architecture review and approval of vendor proposed solutions and retro fit existing Qlik apps to new data models
  • Keeping up to date on market trends and developments in reporting and related new technologies to provide recommendations and deliver standard methodology solutions
  • Acting as the point of contact for Reporting dashboards, visualization, self-service, vendor support team, UCB, Global IT
  • Managing initiatives that relates to data, analytics and related toolsets and ensure successful implementation within agreed cost, schedule and quality targets (managing demand, planning, execution, testing, implementation, support)
  • Building a common analytics & reporting roadmap partnering with IT Product Owner, US Commercial Operations that scale to support across orgs. He/she will own the demand management, project pipeline & vendors coordination in the context of reporting & analytics for US markets & expansion
  • Developing use case specification and draft deliverables that map customer business requirements into complete analytics artifacts (technologies, processes and people) or operational solutions.
  • Managing a team of consultants (including functional & technical analyst as well as developers) that are responsible for delivering advanced and deep analytics requirements as well as governance around data, enhancement & support
  • Establishing and facilitating an optimal project governance and decision-making structures, such as Steering Committee and Core Team, to ensure smooth, efficient and risk-managed program delivery of Reporting and Analytical platform to support self-service use cases


Interested? For this position you'll need the following education, experience and skills:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics) or a scientific discipline
  • 10+ years of successful business intelligence & data analysis, functional analysis and project management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the commercial platform and applications - MDM, Data Lake, Marketing platforms, Reporting, integration, Data Virtualization, data warehouses, cloud infrastructure environment (preferably Azure capabilities)
  • Extensive knowledge of BI concepts (i.e. ETL, dimensional modeling, data warehouse design, dashboarding)
  • Extensive experience with all aspects of Qlik platform including development, support, performance tuning, and administration
  • Experience with integrated data science delivery platforms in Microsoft Azure (preferred). Toolsets including data science platforms such as Azure ML, Databricks, Snowflake and languages such as SQL, R and Python, associated Integrated Develop Environments (IDEs), code repositories such as GitHub, model management and model deployment toolsets, and others
  • Familiar with healthcare datasets and provider data (e.g. IQVIA, MMIT, Symphony)
  • Good understanding of statistical techniques, libraries, packages commonly used in the healthcare analytics industry
