We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Macrocycle Platform group and contribute to peptide drug discovery efforts. The candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying macrocycle screening technologies and assays to identify and evolve peptide hits for multiple therapeutic programs.

Major accountabilities:

• Use mRNA display and other peptide screening technologies to perform hit identification for diverse targets in immunology and neurology
• Design and execute biochemical, biophysical, and cell-based assays to inform peptide hit identification and mechanism of action studies
• Design and develop technology improvements to increase capabilities of macrocycle platform
• Present data to cross-functional teams
• Driving collaborations externally, across sites, and between diverse functional groups to advance projects

Requirements:

• Ph.D. or M.S. Degree in biology, biochemistry, chemical biology, protein engineering or related field with 5+ (Ph.D.) or 10+ (M.S.) years of experience.

Competencies:

• Experience with assay development, cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and biochemical and mechanistic studies is required
• Experience with high throughput screening or in vitro selection technologies is preferred
• Strong experimental design, troubleshooting, and data analysis skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
