In this Sr. Credit Analyst - Reporting role, the successful candidate will leverage Microsoft Power applications to enhance and streamline departmental processes, contributing to increased overall efficiency. With a focus on accounts receivable management, the position involves collaborating with operations to collect opening costs and client deposits, ensuring accuracy by verifying accounts receivable information from contracts and loading it into SAP. The role extends to diverse responsibilities, from monitoring written repayment plans to preparing comprehensive financial reports, making it an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in accounting, finance, and data analytics. This role is a hybrid role based in Mobile, Alabama.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Use Microsoft Power applications to improve/automate department process and increase efficiency.
* Assist with the management of the accounts receivable process.
* Work with operations to collect opening costs and client deposits.
* Verify accounts receivable information from contracts and load into SAP.
* Monitor and track units that are on a written repayment plan.
* Maintain various Excel worksheets.
* Initiate refund requests for credit balances.
* Perform maintenance within the SAP Account Receivable system.
* Work with operations and manager regarding uncollectible amounts.
* Assist with the month end finance charge process.
* Assist accounting and operations with complex billing reconciliations.
* Prepare the 180-day write-off report for corporate.
* Prepare reporting for clients, sector CFOs, and corporate.
* Prepare monthly DSO reports and AR aging reports.
* Prepare journal entries as needed.
* Train and Mentor new employees as assigned.
* Maintain clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
* Special projects as assigned.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
* Accounting or Finance degree and/or Data analytic experience including MS Power BI, Power Automate
* 5+ years of experience in accounting and customer service and/or 4+ years of relevant AR experience
