We are currently searching for a highly motivated, results-focused Director, Omnichannel Marketing. In this role, you will play a critical role in Lexicon's Marketing team while demonstrating our corporate values of Integrity, Innovation, Respect, Transparency, and Ownership. This role will be based out of Lexicon's Bridgewater, NJ location or can be based remotely.

Job Summary:

The Director, Omnichannel Marketing will be responsible for ensuring a cohesive, customer-focused, and data-driven omnichannel strategy and execution for a recently launched cardiovascular product, as well as for future indications. These strategies will focus on all key audiences, including health care professionals, payers, and consumers. The position will be a key member of the marketing team and commercial organization and will work closely with cross-functional teams to help integrate customer insights into a meaningful journey orchestration as well as measurement across all channels. A successful candidate will have omnichannel marketing expertise, excellent communication and analytical skills and the ability to closely collaborate with cross-functional leaders including Sales, Training, Market Research, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal/Compliance, Commercial Operations, IT, Human Resources, and other relevant stakeholders. In addition, they will need to manage and work well with vendors.

This position will report to the Vice President, Marketing. This position will collaborate with the marketing team to compliantly develop and implement commercial marketing tactics in support of our recently launched cardiovascular product and ongoing business operations. This position will provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of core Omnichannel Marketing activities and has a unique opportunity bring our digital marketing efforts to the next level. The right candidate is entrepreneurial, both strategic and execution-oriented, collaborative, and proactive in identifying risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Omnichannel strategy and execution
  • Work collaboratively across the Commercial organization as strategic advisor to drive brand engagement, awareness, and growth
  • Brings strategic storytelling and strong collaboration to further develop and define customer-centric communication strategy and drive customer engagement
  • Partner across the commercial team to develop tactical plans across digital channels (Media, CRM, Websites, IVA, email, etc.)
  • Provides subject matter expertise to internal IT and Operations teams to help shape the omnichannel technology strategy and implementation.
  • Leads the building of omnichannel measurement frameworks, including Omnichannel KPI development, tracking, and diagnostics
  • Oversees the management of agency/vendor partners and manage the budget in support of Omnichannel projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of commercial experience in biotech at a pharmaceutical company, including strong expertise in digital media, multichannel/omnichannel marketing and customer analytics
  • Cardiovascular and/or launch experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong track record of delivering impactful marketing strategies and plans, including positioning, message development, and tailoring/targeting materials for different platforms and audiences.
  • Experience in generating insights from digital customer engagement data across all media channels
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand interdependencies and translate strategy and analysis to tactical, executable solutions.
  • Communicates and collaborates effectively with internal and external partners on technology solutions.
  • Must be a strong critical thinker and problem-solver who is innovative, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and creative.
  • Experience in working closely with Market Research/Business Analytics and Insights
  • Results-oriented individual who is highly motivated, decisive, flexible in thought, and has the creativity to excel in and contribute to a rapidly growing company
  • Forward thinking mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects, and identify and resolve issues

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:

  • Knowledge of current data management, field facing technology tools, practices, and systems (i.e., CRM)
  • Good understanding of regulatory and legal requirements of pharmaceutical Marketing Operations
  • Solid budget planning and budget management acumen
  • Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with sales and marketing teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident executive presence, and ability to communicate with and influence the Commercial Leadership Team
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
