Senior Combat Systems Test Engineer

Overview

R&P is looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our US Navy RTN DDG Support Team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program
Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a Senior Combat Systems Test Engineer ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

* Monitor equipment installations
* Perform test witnessing
* Validate an extensive range of US Navy Combat Systems and associated equipment in the combat suite
* Able to perform hands on testing in multiple areas of Combat Systems

Qualifications

* Must possess at least 10 years of testing experience
* Must have at least 3 years of hands-on testing experience with multiple areas of Combat


Systems to include:


o Background in Combat System concept of operations
o Cable testing
o Electromagnetic Interference testing
o Product Configuration Identification testing
o Interior Communications equipment and systems, radar systems
o General Navigation Aids, electronic, mechanical, and electrical primary and support equipment testing
o Communications equipment testing
o Cryptographic systems testing
o Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues
o Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
o Experience with testing in an AGILE environment
o Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements

Salary
